Our Central Venous Catheters have one to four separate lumens that are sized to perform their individal functions. The catheters are radiopaque to help confirm catheter tip location in the patient by chest x-ray. Polyurethane (PU), is high degree of biocompaibilty, makes up the body of the catheters. To reduce the chance for vessel trauma, Our Central Venous Catheters have a special sof-tip which is more pliant than the rest of the catheter. The catheters have been tested to international standards to demonstrate biocompatibility. Extemnal clear markings on the body of the catheter are used to aid in proper anatomical placement of the tip. 2. The Y-introducer needle and Raulerson syringe,which are provided in a kits, are contained a unique barrel containing a valve to prevent free flow of venous blood and virtually eliminate any potential air embolism. 3. Use centimeter marking on guide-wire to adjust indwelling length according to desired depth of catheter placement, and aid in determining insertion depth. 4. The Advancer can easily straighten the "J"-tip of guide-wire and it with one hand. Central venous catheter is indicated when there are no peripheral sites available, when a viscous or hyperosmolar infusion is prescribed, or when a line is needed for or support. Mainly, the central venous catheter is intended for use in patients as follow: 1. Infusion of fluids, medications, or chemotherapy; 2. Blood sampling in the central vein; 3. Central venous pressure monitoring; 4. Blood administration; 5. Total parenteral nutrition.
